Juvéderm Voluma XC for Lips

Juvéderm is a hyaluronic acid gel that is inserted into your lips through injection. Hyaluronic acid is naturally occurring in the body and helps provide skin with nutrients in order to retain its moisture and texture. Lidocaine is added for injection in order to reduce pain. Because Juvéderm Voluma XC has a thinner consistency compared to other Juvéderm products, it allows for a more natural look. Once injected into the lip, the gel restores the natural volume and removes fine lines that appear on lips. After a period of time, the hyaluronic acid will break down and be absorbed into surrounding tissues. However, positive effects may remain for up to twice the amount of time traditional collagen treatments.

At Poser Plastic Surgery Center, we offer several lip enhancement options for patients who want to improve the appearance of lips, including smooth fine lines and deep-set wrinkles, as well as plumping the lips.
